Description Sorry for my absence recently, school has been keeping me busy! I kinda feel bad for uploading something so quick and sloppy, you all were probably expecting some epic painting from me after not uploading for so long! (It's coming, it's coming...)

Anyways, I just got some acrylic ink, and I've been itching to try it out. This is the result. I liked it enough to post, but I'll probably move it to scraps later.

I love this; a sort of swirling mass of undefined forms, which play off each other really effectively and build the image. The really loose, unpolished quality adds so much energy to this, like they're all just rising up from the shadows in this malevolent group, I love the stark contrast in the colours, and the way the red sits there so sinisterly and gives life to everything.

The ground is really cool too, just a couple of strokes really leaves such a fantastic impression and stabilizes the whole picture. Awesome~

Thank you!
That's the effect I was going for; I've drawn these guys several times and I can never seem to get it just how I see it in my head... although I was particularly happy with how this came out.

Gah! It's so energetic and awesome! I love how beautifully spontaneous it is. Those red bits are lovely, too!

Fav'd!

Incredible! It looks like you just did some brushstrokes, and these came to life.
It makes me think of those old traditional japanese drawings. It might be because of the combosition.

Oh, I love it ... I like that is on one half abstract and one half ink pic ... and their red eyes. I think it would be great illustration to some horror book, donΒ΄t you think ?

That's actually the idea, I was testing out this kind of style for an upcoming project.

This is an really cool style, the looseness makes it look more playful, subtracts some of the malevolence you might otherwise get from red-eyed beasties. It's adorable in a swarming monsters sort of way.

Haha, you think? I wanted them to look kind of... formless? Like they're all melting into each other? Like a swarm of shadows come alive, haha.

Ahhh I adore this.

It's simple and imo the "sloppiness" is really its charm and focal point.
I particularly like the dots near the back and dripping bits from their mouths.

Yeah, I love seeing other artists do sloppy loose stuff, I have a hard time "letting it go" when I do my own though, haha. I always want to refine it to death.

This one makes me remember a movie from my childhood about unicorns. In the end all lost unicorns come up from the sea, surfing the waves. I know these arenΒ΄t unicorns but it still reminds me of that movie. Well done! ItΒ΄s got a really personal touch to it.

Ahh yeah, I used to watch that movie too!
Now that you mention it, yeah it kinda does look like that scene.
