Memorial Day 2009, Magic Island, Oahu.Traditional Japanese lantern floating festival to send the souls of those who gave their lives into the calm sea at sunset.
There were rumored 40,000 people at the event that night, with thousands lighting their own personal lanterns with messages for loved ones.
A beautiful night!
