Design Project 5: Soft Statement.We had to pick an object in the real world and make it entirly out of fabric.
I chose a MacBook.

How long did it take you?

It was a school project, so I only had about two weeks to work on it. Once i measured everything and made a pattern, it didnt take that long. The longest part was cutting all the keys out of felt and writing the letters on them.

What did you use for writing on it? Sharpie? Fabric pen?

I tried fabric pens at first, but sharpie seemed to work better. the felt was really fuzzy so it was kind of hard to make it legible. I found that if, when i cut out the strips that i would then cut into squares, before I cut the squares out, i stretched the felt down, so it became thiner and more condenced, the letters looked better.

I don't know, whatever you have been working on that looks cool I guese. You could post some of the swords you made.
First, learn how to use spell check. That will help. Other wise there isn't realy a big way to get noticed besides going and commenting on other peoples art that you like that is simmilar to yours, and maybe they will comment back. That or post things in groups or forums or whatever. But spelling is key here.
