So this is my Design Project 6: Kinetic Sculpture.

We could do whatever we wanted to do, as long as it had a crank, rod, and cog, and it needed to work. So Yes, this Merry-go-Round actualy works. The horses hanging from teh top spin in a circle and the horses on sticks on the bottom go up and down when you spin the stick thing coming out of the top. You can't really see the top horses very well in this pic, oh well, maybe I will post some detail shots latter...

This is a present for the lovley Escere [link] Though I'm not entirly sure how she is getting it from Texas to Cali....tehe, not my problem...

Basicly, I just wanted to make the most ridiculoulsy frilly and silly thing possible, and I do belive I sucseeded.

Its about a foot and a half tall I think.

Materials (or most of them at least...xD ): lace, brocade, felt, embrodery floss, beads, sequens, fake flowers, ribbons, a large dowel, smaller dowels, acrylic paint, pvc pipe, hot glue, fake butterfly, cake pearls, 4 cardbord hat boxes of decreesing sizes, styraphome, baby powder, marbles, paper mache, yarn..... I think thats it?
