Some info on these creeps.Happy, Leon, Sussana and Blythe are all reanimated corpses...brought to life using black magic, science, and robotics by Reyner Rotlove and Mathis Paxton. While Reyner is a disgraced mortician (being found to love dead things a bit too much) and crazed mechanic, Mathis is a mental patient having escaped the ward he was placed in after being found to be the leader of a black magic cult. The two decide that they will show the power of their trades to all who wronged them, and basically start a war against the living.
Happy was brought back mostly through mechanical means. You can see the metal and wiring coming out of her tail. She is much more sturdy and strong than Leon, and is easier to repair, but can glitch out quite a bit, which usually shows itself as uncontrollable giggling. She also needs to be recharged every 10 or so hours.
Leon, however, was mainly brought back through black arts, which meant he had to have a sense removed. Mathis chose sight. Because of this his other senses are heightened. He also got a few quirks from being laced with magic; his stomach mouth, having a mind of its own practically, and his scarf is imbued with similar magic, allowing it to be used as extra limbs. The scarf is also surprisingly powerful and can claw through steel cables in a few swipes, yet be soft and limp as you'd expect a scarf to be. Because literally magic.

Ahh! It's nice to know more about Mathis and Reyner, what they do in their life, like START A WAR AGAINST THE WHOLE WORLD

I find them very cute ^^ I don't know why though... They're living corpses who probably kill people for Reyner and Mathis, but well... And Happy giggling uncontrollably when she glitch out is so fun and cute (and it goes well with her being a hyena)

Some of the experiments are forced to obey, while others do...sort of look up to their masters. Like...Blythe is an equal to Reyner and Mathis- having been Reyner's wife's corpse he brought back- and hopes to change their minds about what they're doing. Though...she doesn't really remember who she was, and is different from who she was when she had a soul...still...she is a kind creature. Meanwhile Happy and Leon here are both made to obey...and frankly would like to go back to being dead...though with Happy it can be hard to tell xD.
Sassy...honestly just dances all day to Blythe's piano playing. Or else Sassy goes mad and becomes a monster. So...she's seemingly mindless.
There are gonna be others that will have other positions in their army, and even a defector, who I'm looking forward to drawing x3 And many will be happy to work for the two~
Having said that...Reyner treats them all rather lovingly. Mathis...not always. They're a means to an end more than a new and exciting form of life to him.

Aw, they're somehow Reyner's children, his little creatures (made out of dead people). And he brought back to life the corpse of his wife in the hope of getting her back (?). But they're not the same than what they were in life. where do they come from then?
And that defector intrigue me ovo
