Been binge watching the series lately again and experiencing much joy, quickly followed by crushing sadness because of remembering the state it was left in…. 16 years on since that dreadful cliffhanger, ugh!Related content

I wasn't a huge fan of ReBoot, but I had a friend who enjoyed it, and I remember that the late Tony Jay voiced MegaByte. Tony Jay was also the villain in the Disney film Hunchback of Notre Dame. I'd heard his voice in other mediums, including Mighty Max, Fallout 1, Icewind Dale, King's Quest VI, and even Treasure Planet. Even if I only saw a little of ReBoot, it was kind of interesting, and it reminded me of Beast Wars, another cool CGI-animated cartoon. If they ever release the Blu-ray of Beast Wars, I'm getting it!

Haha well Beast Wars was made by the same company that did ReBoot, so that may be why. 
ReBoot starts out as a lot of fluff, but it gets more plot driven about halfway through. The second half is quite drastically different from the first half, but both are equally enjoyable and important. It's one of my fondest childhood TV shows.

OK then. What if they did a comic book continuation of ReBoot? Would that be interesting?

They tried to do one years ago but I remember only reading like the first chapter - and from what I'm hearing it wasn't very good (I'm not even sure the original creators were involved with it). I'd like to read it anyway but the official website is down right now for an update, it looks like.
But anyway, I would love a comic book to continue where the show left off, if it involved the original creators/writers who had that all planned out, they just didn't get to finish. It would be better than nothing, which is where it's been at for the last 16 years. And the new "Guardian Code" ReBoot doesn't look very promising, so, yeah, I'd take it. *sighs wistfully* If only...
