I think he's only in the one book, and some comics, which I haven't read. Otherwise I only know him from the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game, which he's been a major character in the expansions over the last 2 years, and also my favorite. So I already loved him and kept seeing the book talked about and finally decided I needed to read it. It's definitely good fun, probably even if you aren't familiar with him, it gives plenty of backstory so it should be newbie friendly.

I used to play the game with a few friends several years ago, but with young kids it's gotten harder to devote time to playing games (which is sadness, but it won't always be that way). And I'm afraid I don't remember much about the story except that I was really, really tempted to pay to get a Chiss character (I knew I wasn't going to be able to play enough to earn one at the time). All the same, I will have to check it out!
