It's my version of the Wind Waker style. I actually forced myself to finish a half decent background this time. I'm proud of it! My friend Migel helped in sending me this weird tutorial on clouds, so thanks to her! The stupid wooden boards and crap was hell to get right...and I still don't think its right but I do like how the water turned out for some reason. Pretty colours! Hah I had fun, Red....Blue, rreeeed, blluuuuee, Mwaha!Possibly my favourite part of Wind Waker was playing Link in his PJ's, whoever came up with that...Power to Yah. Oh yeah, and the hat bubble was funny too.
P.S......my bad on the arm, but it's not that noticable I don't think...

I found the cartoony style grew on me. That game accomplished so much with colour that other zeldas had never done! They got to play with neat animations and stylisations like the swirly smoke and music playing when you hit something a few times in a row. The colours are what really sold me on the style, hopefully Skyward Sword will bring that back.

I agree with you there, but soon enough games will all be so realistic that there will be a surge back to unique stylistic stuff. Nowadays, a game being known for it's 'realistic graphics' is pretty common and not that impressive anymore, the technology is advancing so fast nothing is a surprise anymore. But a game with its own style can definitely be sure it'll get noticed beyond the sea of realistic-simulation games. It makes it more of a work of art instead of just another game. That being said, maybe a surplus of realistic graphics will encourage developers to focus more on plot and character development etc.

This is really awesome. What I love about Wind Waker is that after you beat it, you can start over again and not have to wear the green clothes and have THIS instead.

One of the reasons I wanted to beat it again (cuz i didn't want to start over on my beaten account, made a new one instead) was that i heard you could play in his pajamas, which i loved. I'd still almost like to find some pajamas like that for myself... if not for the plain eternal-geek of the concept...

oh i see, yeah i completely understand that. I've always had a separation in the back of my head between game boy and console links as well. So how did you come up with chikara then? Is it based on something or is it a random title you gave him yourself?

i first use it as a random name. picked it out of a Japanese dictionary, saying "Yes, he is a Chikara!". then i play through WW, see he does use a lot of power for many things! in MC, same thing, as well as FS and PH.....my theory/storyline explains it better...
