Description
This was inspired by an episode in 'Once Upon a Time'.In 'The Return' Mr Gold was going through August's things, looking for a clue as to who he is, and he finds a drawing of his dagger.
Later, in a flashback, Bae notices that Rumple's boots were stained with blood and finds out that he'd killed the maid who'd overheard them speaking about the dagger. When Bae had protested that she was mute, Rumple got this thoughtful look and replied, 'Even mutes can draw a picture'.
I instantly fell in love with that line, but it made me think of the picture they'd shown earlier. Things get carried over from one world to the other... but how would 'Pinocchio' know about the dagger? So I think that the mute drew a picture

My personal pet theory is that Pinocchio overheard Blue discussing the knife with someone. Perhaps the cage was just meant to hold him until they found the knife.

I was like, "You're insufferable!" when he said that. Not as memorable as "All magic comes at a price.", but that was one of the best lines in "The Return".
