well here i am august 8th 2008 and i've finally reached the fabled 10,000 hit's on my page here. i first and formost want to thank all my friends and peers old and new who helped me get here, especially those who helped with the final 200 views. many people ask what is the importence of this whole page view thing, all i can say is for me it's kind of a status symbol, kind of a way to see how much people view my work and maybe how good my art is. of course comments and favorites mean much more to me then the whole page view thing. all of these things combined certianly help me continue forward in my journey to being a real artist(and no i'm not so pig headed to think i'm there yet heh)
on to my comemorative work. i've always loved the marvel comics character jean grey the phoenix. a character i feel has been left by the wayside in recent years. i drew my version of her surrounded by the phoenix force, took many sessions in photoshop to get this piece just right. i still have much to learn about the program but i used all my current knowledge on this piece. i hope it is enjoyed by one and all.
