Description First digital portrait! I thought Benedict's pretty face would be nice to draw! I like him quite much, he's my new icon now~. And I didn't expect it to take so long. Actually I have no idea of how long this took, but many, many hours. Alhough I don't really mind.


Even though I feel so uncreative now, it was a lot of fun!
The Doctor is up next.

And Sherlock does obviously not belong to me.

they remind me of my best friends eyes...they change with his mood. They can go from blue to grey to really amazing greenish.

And I guess it also depends on the lightning how you perceive the eye colour. This is probably one of the many reasons I love eyes so much, the same pair of eyes can look so different depending on the circumstances.

This is great! He looks very natural, especially when it comes to skin colour. And the hair... How have you done such detailed hair?? Wow!! You must have a lot of patience!

Oh gosh thank you so much! Well it did take some time before I got the hang of how to draw curly hair, though I still don't think it gives him justice.

It's amazing! Looks so realistic (especially his clothes - you can almost touch the crispness of his shirt), and is really well painted!! Just watch that his hair looks a bit too purple, and his upper lip area looks a bit... odd. Other than that, for a first digital portrait (or indeed any portrait), this is amazing!!

By the way, when you say The Doctor, which one do you mean? Because I can think of 11 of them... D:

Aww thank you! I'm happy to hear that, I was afraid I was going to ruin them! Hmm, well the picture I used as reference was tinted in blue, unlike the original which in my opinion looks rather boring and not as colorful as the other, so his hair was actually quite purple in the reference. And his jacket was originally black. Oh you're right, I did draw them a bit too big and the shading is weird, but then again his upper lip has a quite interesting form.

Well you'll have to wait and see! Although I don't think it's so hard to figure out which one it is.

No, you did very well! Er... Can't say I'm surprised since it was an edited version you were working from. Aye, that's true, but his upper lip area looks as though it has a strange diamond. <- I can't believe how critical that sounds! OTL Hmmm... Maybe try rounding his upper lip a bit would help solve that?

Hmmm... I'm going to go with my gut instinct, and say that you're referring to the 10th Doctor played by David Tennant. I freaking loved him in that role. *o*

Hmm, I think I know what you mean, the shape of the Cupid's bow is a little too sharp and together with the, err, arch right above (which is shaded too dark) it does indeed form a diamond. Oh no, I really appreciate every kind of critic as long as it's constructive, I wouldn't have noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out! Too lazy to fix it though.

Yup! Me too! Honestly he seems to be everyone's favorite Doctor. :>
