He is the most loved of the long line of High Kings of the Snow Elven country of Mistvall. High King Faithur, in life, was the third leader of Mistvall in the later years of the 2nd Era. He rose to power at what seemed like the worst time for any leader to take the throne. The young High King was given a broken country to rule, there was fascism, murder, riots, anarchy, and warlords fighting over a no man's land. This was due to the influence of the High Elves to destabilize Mistvall and ultimately take control. They would have succeeded too, if not for High King Faithur. The leader, despite a very troublesome Mistvall, took control strongly and focused on regaining the economy, culture, diplomacy, and to organize the military of his homeland. He was especially friendly to the country's prior enemies who were the Northmen of Kjarra and the Night Elves of Dusk'rah. He had a very 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' attitude in politics. Even though they'd been to war with both of these nations in the past, the High Elves were a common enemy and he formed an unofficial alliance with the two nations, in order to utterly stamp out the influence of the High Elves in Northeastern Sol. Through force, he removed the lesser rulers of cities and holds installed by the High Elves and replaced them with Snow Elven leaders appointed by himself, usually due to their merit, fairness, and pacifism. Next, he reestablished his trade routes with the neighbors of his homeland and placing an embargo on the High Elves while other leaders in the realm followed suit. This caused an extreme flow of gold into the country, over the course of barely a month, and the morale of the citizens was boosted thanks to it. It also established Faithur as a beloved ruler who served not only his own people but others who would benefit them.

Personality-wise, different accounts have said in private he was eloquent and calm about everything, never losing his cool. This could be seen in his public speeches where he was never seen shouting, commanding, or intimidating. Always seen as a beacon of hope and prosperity for his citizens. In fact, it is said that the calm and zen demeanor of Faithur is the reason for the Snow Elven culture's focus on diplomacy, calmness, and order. It was also said that he was quite a spiritual person, often visiting the local temples and consulting sages on future political moves that would primarily focus on benefiting the people and preserving life. This was even more pronounced, concerning his death, which was at the hands of a nightblade from Daeruin who assassinated him while praying in the Blue Temple, located in the capital city of Shailyn. According to some accounts, this nightblade was part of an elite order of assassins which explains why there were no guards immedietly available to stop his death.
