This anime made me laugh. And I'm happy to finally laugh with a "focused on girls Slice of Life" anime again, since Azumanga Daioh. (yes, I couldn't laugh with K-on neither Lucky Star, they almost made me sleep At least Ritsu saved K-on )Azumanga Daioh is still the best for me, but Nichijou looks like it'll be insane and funny too.
I think the insane / nonsense factor is actually the best of this anime. We can't predict what will happen (we can just predict that they'll obviously make a school trip to a place like Kyoto, since this happen in every damn highschool slice of life anime)

Maybe I like Azumanga Daioh because I watched it when I was a teenager, so this made me enjoy the anime more.

Hmm, I personally like Nichijou a lot better than Azumanga, for some reason I didn't really like that series too much. But I still liked it better than K-On and Lucky Star.

I absolute loved azumanga daioh, which this anime seems to take after. (Just way more insane) Seriously, where do I pay to get my Nichijou boxset!?
Oddly enough, Lucky Star didn't appeal to me at all. My guess is that it used too much humor that required the watching of ever other anime under the sun. (which I have no time to do so) -_-;

Haha, indeed, Nichijou is really more insane than Azumanga, but I still like how they portrait some bizarre things in life that everbody already faced at least once. XD (some japanese focused jokes weren't appealing to me, but there were jokes that were universal, and they are cool)
I also agree with you. Lucky Star jokes weren't appealing to me at all. I don't remember laughing once when I watched it. They were too focused on moe and tsun tsun things, and these are things that I consider ridiculous. I don't like forced characters with stereotypes. I like characters that behave in a more natural way.

I agree. I forced myself to watch the entire season of lucky star to see if things would get better. The only real part that I genuinely liked was when Konata's mother's ghost came back to check up on her family. That made me smile from ear to ear. Other then that, I was checking my watch the entire time. -_-;
