This anime made me laugh. And I'm happy to finally laugh with a "focused on girls Slice of Life" anime again, since Azumanga Daioh. (yes, I couldn't laugh with K-on neither Lucky Star, they almost made me sleep At least Ritsu saved K-on )

Azumanga Daioh is still the best for me, but Nichijou looks like it'll be insane and funny too.
I think the insane / nonsense factor is actually the best of this anime. We can't predict what will happen (we can just predict that they'll obviously make a school trip to a place like Kyoto, since this happen in every damn highschool slice of life anime)
