Welllll finally Jordan's posting minis back up!!!!Yup yup, well anyways. Some information.
Son's of the Celestial Dragon: Space Marine DIY Chapter.
Been working on these 5 guys for the past...oh I should say 3 months. Lots of detail work on them, I swear to effing god. (Free handing dragon head iconography is a bitch among other things....)

dont know what I like moest about this guys; awesome basing, custom posing, colour scheme, or this cool shoulder pads design.
Usualy i find "something" (one thing) about some miniatures, that I adore, but here...

I like your Son's of the Celestial Dragon, they remind me of my own Arcana Chapter.
In a few minutes I'll upload some pics in my gallery.
Btw. the second marine is my favourite.
It's very difficult to paint white, but you did a great job!

And yes, the white is difficult but, to me, worth the effort. heh. And your Marines look outstanding. Some larger pics might do them more justice though.

Thank you very much - Unfortunetly my mobilephone camera doesn't allow a higher resolution, but I added a WIP pic to my scratchbook, which was made with a digital camera of a friend.
Maybe in time I'll get another digicam to show you the finished work in a higher resolution, too.

one thing though, the metal parts need to be worked, more glazes and highlights might bring it to the quality of the rest of the miniature.
still, my jaw have droped

Yeah the metallics are a bit semi flat, but that was what I kind of was hitting. But I think maybe a wash and a burnish gold with white mix for a highlight might do some good.

if you still want to improve the metals, take about 7/10 glazes of black/blue and re-highlight with boltgun metal.

Oooh the gun metals I thought you meant the gold. Ok I ll try that but I think BGM is too dark for the metallic sheen I m trying to hit.

also, the black parts need more highlight, not in the traditional edge highlight, but more at lightsource styled highligh, if you know what i mean
