Description A cartoon about Buck and Caesar from Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Buck just nabbed a blonde woman during the rampage through San Francisco, and being a gorilla, he instinctively wants to climb the tallest skyscraper in town with her.

Drawn and colored by hand, with a few minor touch-ups on Photoshop.

Lmao! XD I laughed so hardd when seeing this. XD I got to watch the movie just a few days ago and it was goooood. 8D Not as scary as I thought it'd be but still really good. I love this though. XD Too funnehhh. The way the policeman held captive by Ceasar is just great; I love how he's gagging and how Ceasar took his baton/beating stick/thing. XD It's a greattt touch. XD And how Buck is being all 8D Can I go please huh can I huh? with the blonde is just hysterical. I love the colouring job overall; the colour pencils' textur give this whole piece a great touch. I love it!

Thank you very much! And sweet, you liked the movie too! I just saw it a third time this past Friday.

I couldn't resist making a King Kong joke about this scene. It's an Andy Serkis movie that features an escaped gorilla running through a major city and fighting with an aircraft over a famous landmark. It was fun to see how silly I could make both the cop and the blonde look. The cop even has a dent in his helmet where Ceasar hit him with the baton. And Buck's like a giant hairy kid who just wants to have a good time, you can't help but love the big guy.

Come to think of it, those King Kong comparisons might be part of why this movie was set in San Francisco instead of New York. You'd think they would've set it in NY since the original movie apparently took place there (what with the Statue of Liberty and all), but the filmmakers didn't do that for some reason.
