This pic took far too long for me to get around to. I wanted to do a pic of old Primey for a long time, but never got around to it, because I didn't know what style I wanted, if I could make it LOOK any good, etc etc etcWell I finally got down to it (while listening to the Metroid Prime music on loop to get me in the right mood), and I really love how it turned out. Good old Essence of Metroid Prime, a big squid looking Metroid for all to enjoy, and she doesn't go down with a fight either, if you've followed the Prime storyline and know about Dark Samus's origins.
She'll be back.
I'm not sure if I did the right amount of tentacles on her though, or if her facial structure is correct, but I couldn't be bothered to bust out the game to find out. Meh, I still like it regardless.

Man, Metroid Prime was a fucking pain in hard mode! I died only one time on her first form but I managed to defeat her and beat the game a 4th time! (I beat it 3 times on normal mode before beating it one time on hard mode)

its a shame for me that i ever had the chance to beat the first Metroid Prime game cause i was stuck at the very last boss in the game and i gaved it all up. and i never played 2nd or 3rd part :\ makes me sad
now its all about Call Of Duty now

Actually it was a first time run on Normal difficulty. But it was 3 years ago so I dont think I can beat it in 10 tries any more.

I think the core essence is an "It" but due to absorbing Samus' DNA, it genetiically became a "She"

god... I just beat the game and it looks just like it!
where else it's the first metroid I ever played so dunno too much about the storyline... but I guess dark samus has something to do witht the phazon suit(?)

You'd be right about that, if you see Metroid Prime take the suit, that becomes Dark Samus in the second Metroid. Have to beat the game 100% to see why
