Actually it does. He did not set any copyright, otherwise it wouldn't be all over the web on other people's sites and stuff.
Besides that, I did this for a small study, drawing this only took me 30 minutes. I liked the end result and decided to publish it.
It is just the same as if I had done a painting by, let's say, Dali. The original isn't mine, I'm just doing a study. No one had the copyright, I could publish it.

There are lots of images that have spread around like wildfire, despite the fact that no one really knows who made the image.

There's also that a few people said that when it comes to putting things on the Internet, a copyright is set the instant it's either produced or uploaded. Yet it just so happens that it's spread around anyway.

Why the hell do people only care about this stupid half-an-hour drawing?!?!? This site is ridiculous...I have another angel, original, that's been sitting on my notebook for a while...I guess I'll finish it up and post it... Stay tuned for another emo angel...sry about the vent btw

Cool. I have an original one I was doing but they took my notebook away for exhibit and I haven't felt like finishing it ever since (though I'm like inches away)

um, actually one of my good mates drew the ORIGINAL of this.

sorry, I know I sound like one of those "OMG NO IT WAS MYY FRIEND" haha, but i actually witnessed him draw the original 'emo' angel a few years back

Just setting the record straight, I hate seeing work being credited to the wrong people.

I like how you've redrawn it by the way, would not be able to do this even if I tried! Well done
