also, I don't have a graphics program at my disposal at the moment, so you'd have to download it and resize it in fireworks or photoshop or something (dA avatars are 50x50).

lol, don't. It took me a while to get used to graphics programs, too. If you're not opposed to waiting, I can probably do it for you in a month, tops. No worries.

Or, if you have Fireworks, you open the image in the program, then go to the top tab marked "Modify" then go to "image size." Once you're there, a window will pop up so you can fill in the new size you want. This option keeps the image proportionate, so all you have to do is change one of the values to 50 and the other will automatically be made 50 as well. Then just "Save file as" and rename it, then upload it to your dA as a deviation but mark it as a profile avatar. Then you can select it to use as your dA avatar. Ta-da!

I don't know how to do it in Photoshop, though n.n;;

(college has been killing me and I actually worked myself sick a few days ago, so you'll just have to forgive me for forgetting some things).

It'll be uploaded as BlackHeart2
From there you can save it to your computer and upload it to your own dA as an avatar.

Hey, I fixed the file. It wasn't the resolution size that was keeping you from using the avatar, it was the file type. I made it as a .png (I love .pngs lol) but I converted it to a smaller file-size .jpg, so now you should have no problem using it as a dA avatar.
