The first submission after returning from London

So, this took me quite some time. I got the idea in a hotel on the German-Austrian border, when we were on our way to Italy. Them, as time passed, I developed the final look of the pic, and started inking. Ever since I started inking, I'd been doing it bit by bit, a bit in Tirrenia, where I started the drawing itself, a bit in Rome, a bit in Warsaw, but I finished it in London. And you know what? I am damn PROUD of this. Try inking in an A4 paper with nothing but a 0.25mm rapitograph. Frustrating? Yes. Very. But worth it.

So! Maciek. Yes, again As some of you might have noticed from the title, this is heavily inspired by the Pink Floyd song, "Brain Damage", off the "The Dark Side Of The Moon" album (just one of the best albums in history). I had a phase when I listened to the song over and over for the first week or so of our italian voyage, and it stuck in my head to be mulled over. Oddly enough, when I was in London, the EXACT same thing happened with "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part One)" off the "Wish You Were Here" album... Anyway! The lyrics made me think of Maciek and his not-very-happy two years in the mental institute, and how he got out of there and felt as if he'd been changed against his will, by force, and the hate he had for his new self. Creepy stuff.

100% black Rotring ink (using a 0.25mm Rotring rapitograph) on 155g/m2 paper.
