A little gift for : : - I totally still am working on her art-trade that she was so gracious to do, and things on my end have been literally insane. Yay for owning your own business, but it's not a good excuse.*sheepish grin* I'm never this late on my half of things, so she gets an extra fun sketchybit, since I needed to warm up my brain and my hand tonight... Man, I've not worked on anything in a while, so rusty!

...*jaw drops* Wow, Korat, you didn't have to do that! I'm behind on my trades, too. There's a couple poor folks probably think I've forgotten about them. This is beautiful! I'm still totally in love with how your furry characters look furry, there's so much texture and life in their coats. And I adore Scylla's messy mane.
The shading on her coat is fantastic - I love the little bits of red that show up around her belly and neck. And the dapples are so cute!

Aw, honest, I did. I needed to warm up too - it's been so long since I've even set a hand on the tablet right now, and I'm so rusty, argh. It's funny how you sort of get that way after a few months of not drawing anything but numbers on checks, sigh.
She's lovely to do, I'll probably draw her again at some point, and spend a little longer for you, promise. I think she's just so pretty - love the vibrant colors on her. Unicorns are the best thing to get my brain in gear, I'm finding. Well, or to just spend time happily sketching.
Mmmm, candy! My daddy told me never to take candy from strange unicorns...
(Wait, no, maybe that was my college friends. It's been way too long. Can't remember. I'd probably get into a strange unicorn's van for a candy heart, though. Nummy!)
