finally had time to finish my contribution for the A/V jam "in the key of #sworcery" happening right now ([link] online. this one is called "the all feeling eye" and took some time...
many small details to discover i guess (yes, it's the "grizzled boor" on top of the mountain). i kinda like the result, especially the authentic scythian decoration stuff and the forest detail.
"Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP" ([link] is now available for the pc via steam ([link] . enjoyed the game alot, even if it's one of the most occult games i've played in years...
glad they released it apart from ipad, phone and pod - the atmosphere and the soundtrack is just outstanding.

This is a masterful piece, absolutely astounding! And what I like the most is how the style reminds of the classic sword and sorcery scenarios.

Cool interpretation of the Scythian, very fascinating lineaments. Apt for the character.

thank you dude! appreciate your comment, makes me happy to see that you like the interpretation of her,
was fun to "translate" the original pixel version.

trivia: for the tattoo she's wearing on her chest is based on an antique tattoo, found on the mummified body of a Scythian FEMALE warrior, thought that fits well.

Cool detail pal, thanks for sharing. *_* It absolutely fits.

And yes, having done it myself I agree about the design, both doing it and seeing the interpretations of others is very fun.

loved how many artists shared their love for the game by doing so much art for just a few days related only to sword and sworcery.

This image has been my work desktop background for months and I'm so glad I've finally tracked it down! It really is the most wonderful piece of S&S fanart I have ever seen. I'm actually begging you to consider selling me a print of this because I want to hang it in my home too.

Oh, yes, I bought the game in the humble bundle, and it's totally awesome. It's great how you can interpret a bunch of pixels and make a real garb out of them (= Again, a lot of fun details, I like it a lot
