Also Silver, you can fly ( or if too weak he's showing he can still just grab things) . I don't think you're really required to swim in order to catch fish, but whatever-- anything to flashback to Silver's parents I guess lolΒ

He can fly and grab things but if his concentration lapses from hunger it will break his psychic hold, so if he's levitating he will fall. And he can't swim.
So it's not a question of could he, but should he fly out over a body of water of indeterminable depth to search for fish that may or may not exist in the first place?
I dunno, maybe it's just me, but that plan seems slightly flawed.

How hungry is he too? He just woke up from a nap, take a spit bath, and flew around-- if he hasn't eaten anything prior to this current time, I guess it makes sense that he's too hungry to really concentrate and focus...but shouldn't he be used to starving like this? I mean I would get that for a while he was doing well with food and THEN he suddenly isn't used to starving for this long hence why he's stumbling, but if he's used to it then this whole "finding food while you're starving" shouldn't this be waaay easier, right?Β
I don't mean to sound like I'm nit picking at all, perhaps I'm asking too many questions that will be answered in future pages and I don't know it yet ( Which if some of this stuff will be explained in the future, forgive my ignorance, lol)Β

He can't swim, because this takes place before the Olympic games.
It's stated in the prima guide for Sonic 06 that Silver can't swim. He has never needed to, up until this point, but now he's regretting not learning.
He's hungry enough for it to disrupt his focus.
Uh... he's not used to starving... where'd you get that idea? if he was used to starving then doing things while feeling hungry wouldn't be much of a problem for him, because he'd be used to it. right?
He just put off eating for a while because his mission takes priority before his comfort, and that has landed him in a bit of trouble.
He usually hunts mobini and cooks them when he's hungry. But unfortunately for him the mobini seem to have all vanished.
It might help to re-read, I haven't posted in a long time so you probably forgot all this stuff, but it's essentially been spelled out in previous pages.

So I think Silver possesses some electrical ability as depicted in 1-23.
