I really like the way you've done the building-- looks awesome!

Maybe a little more work can be done on the feet, they don't really look like they're situated on the floor plane.

Thanks!

I finally went back and worked a bit more on the feet, so hopefully it looks better now.

The stone wall on the right is PERFECT. There is absolutely nothing wrong about it. Absolutely. Definitely. Positively.
The lady's hand to the left (when you're looking at it, so basically, her right hand), looks a little awkward for my taste, but the other hand is great. She seems a little messy overall, but if that's the effect you were going for, awesome. 8D The subtle background in the back adds to the composition, too, rather than takes away from it, so really good job there.

All in all, another piece well done, OF COURSE.

Thanks I made some changes to that hand, so it should be less awkward than it was. As to being messy, yup, I was going for that. I did that to help add to the impression that she was a bit ragged, as if she'd already been fighting.

Well, you definitely pulled off the ragged-and-already-been-fighting bit. As for the hand, while it does look good if the elbow was bent at that angle, I think the arm is pulled a little too close to the body to look really natural. But, that just might be how I hold my knives. XD

In the knife fighting stance I referenced they really do hold it that close to the body. I did exaggerate other parts of the pose just a little, but the arm I kept pretty true to the stance. Then again, my professors often remind me that what's accurate and what works in an art piece are occasionally very different

Hunh. I guess I'm not holding my knives right, then. o_o'' I think, then, the knife should point a little less towards the body and more away from it.

There's so many styles I doubt there's one right way XD You're probably right about the knife though, I may try that and see if it helps.
