Thomas and I both have Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I have Red Rescue Team for my GBA SP and he has Blue Rescue Team for his DS.According to the personality test in the game, he's a Charmander and I'm a Squirtle.
He beat it before I did, but I was pretty well on my way, made it to the sky tower. Then I was defeated on level 21 of the tower!
If you play the game you know that you can exchange passwords with a friend when you die, and they can take their rescue team into the dungeon to rescue you. That way you start right where you were and you don't take a penalty for dying or have to start over. Of course I copied down my SOS password and gave it to Thomas.
He spent all day today working on it...he had to evolve his primary team so they were strong enough to get through the dungeon that lets you get the HM FLY which you need to get back into the Sky Tower after you finish the game, THEN get all the way up to the level I was in the Sky Tower to revive me!
Of course, he did it.
While he was talking to me on IM I was in the mood to doodle so I pulled out my tablet and drew this. It's his newly-evolved Charizard as I imagined him rescuing me (still a Squirtle) from the Sky Tower - from those nasty Flygons that defeated me!(This was before I realized that he didn't "rescue" me from the dungeon as much as he "revived" me in the dungeon but whatever...)

red rescue team was the first game i ever beat. it is a major part of my childhood, and loosing the copy crushed me. that is my favorite pokemon game

I absolutely love this pic! It's so cute and great. I've been playing PMD Red recently (cause I'm old school and only have an Advance) and I'm a Squirtle too. So great to see your friend come to your rescue.

I saw this yesterday and I loved it, but I'll admit I wasn't going to fav it... but then all day today during school, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I also have Mystery Dungeon. I'm a Charmander and my partner's a Bulbasaur.
Back to what you care about hearing... xD I found out I was obsessed with this picture and I can right on here to fav. I wish I had a friend who loves me enough who would save me from the meanie Flygons in SKy Tower! But, alas, Pokemon isn't "cool" in my school so not many others have it. xD

Yay for nostalgia! Pokemon continues to live on!! But I still only have eyes for the original 150. However, I did see that somewhere in one of the later batches of new Pokemon that there was a squirrel type critter, which of course, I wanted to take home with me...

Well I have blue and started over and got cubone this time, last time I got mudkip. The more I think about the glitch, the more I think it has to do with constantly doing the unknown dungeon feature. Oh and I liked the feeling of saving people from the really tough dungeons like wish cave, joyous tower and purity forest.

Great drawing, I especially like how you drew charizard. I've saved many people in pmd from various sites, though I've had to stop that because my game got glitched and deleted. I'm still not sure why though.

I actually like it a lot better than the traditional games, to be honest. Something about the gameplay seems more active to me...there's more strategy involved in the battles I think.
It's at least worth it to check it out. *grins* Plus there's the bonus of that rescue system, it's a neat feature! People post SOS passwords online sometimes and other people can go rescue them, then you send an A-OK password back to them. To me that's more fun than just trading and battling, hehe.
