Description Anyone else realize that Ramirez's sword was named Ilazki or is that only knowledge to Arcadia fanatics like me? Little dramatic sort of shot of the wonderfully evil Ramirez of Skies of Arcadia. The cape was an aesthetic touch of mine.
All you artists out there who have never drawn a glowing crystal sword, do it, it's soooo much fun.

the dracula cape is a nice touch. i still gotta draw a badass pic of him fused with zelos, maybe give him silver devil wings or something...definitely some kind of armor. zelos had alot of unused potential. theres not enough darker pics of him out there either...THIS MUST BE RECTIFIED!

Ramirez ISN'T evil!

But yeah, Ramirez is my second favorite villain next to (guess-who). Skies of Arcadia is my favorite video game of all, but I never knew his sword was called Ilazki. Thanks for that bit of info.

Spiffy picture, I must say. Like the overcast Silver Moon, the glowing sword, and the Ramirez's pose... he looks rather surprised about something. I can't help but wonder what.

One question nearly unrelated to the picture: what source states that his sword's name is Ilazaki? I'm simply curious; random factoids are always good to know, but just as important is where those factoids came from, or at least I think so.

You know I actually don't know? Skies of Arcadia fansites and such have listed his sword's name as Ilazki before...I think in the game the only 'name' it's ever referred to as is 'Sword of the Dark Moon' during Ramirez's Silver Eclipse attack...

*laughs* It just sounded neat, heh...I'm glad you like the pic!

There's a fanfic of some popularity by the name of "The Day The Moon Shines", that has it named that. That's probably why.

Good picture! The cape suits.

Fair enough. Maybe it was in those manga things I hear about occasionally that are really only on the very edge of my conciousness and that I've never really seen. Or something.

Anyway, yes, the 'Sword of the Dark Moon' thing sounds about right for the games. Ilazaki is a pretty cool name, thoguh, even if I personally don't put much stock in it. I don't put much stock in some pairings or theories, for instance, and still think art/stories about them can be really cool if done right.
