Team Akatsuki Admin, Pokemon Contest star, Pokemon Musical star, and spy extraordinaire, Konan is the "feminine touch" and communications expert of Team Akatsuki. And while she's no Champion or Elite Four member, her battle prowess is in a league of its own, as she holds herself up against Nagato and her husband very well. She has the admiration of Yamanaka Ino and Uzumaki Karin, two rising Contest stars in their own rights, and makes good company. She dotes on her Pokemon, as well as the Pokemon of her friends and sometimes team members, making them contest ready, even if they have no intention of competing.

Morphon (Venomoth): Konan's main Pokemon for missions, it is excellent at creating distractions and knocking out unsuspecting guards. Battle-wise, status conditions are also its strongest point, because if its attacks don't take an opponent down, its toxins will. However, it prefers to at the center of the contest stage rather than the battle arena, and stays out of sight most of the time when its trainer needs to battle.

Roserade: Konan's Pokemon Contest champion. Found in Tsunade's Pokemon lab during a holiday party, little Konan couldn't resist keeping it. Groomed and brought up around the contest scene, it has quite the fan club, its members including Yamanaka Ino's Bellossom and Liligant and Hinata's Whimsicott. All that attention may have gone to its head. Despite its contest prowess though, don't underestimate it in battle. It can when it has to and it will win.

Viviyon (Vivillon): Another of Konan's contest Pokemon, it stumbled upon Konan wandering the back of a Contest Hall. Trailing after Konan's Roselia at the time, hoping to get a tasty chunk out of it, as a Scatterbug it clumsily missed and ended up flailing into Konan's arms. Out of compassion, and ignoring Roselia's protests, she kept it and raised it, and now it loyally serves her. Roserade still doesn't like it.

Florges: A more recent addition to Konan's team, as a Flabebe she grew attached to the origami flower Konan wears in her hair and refused to leave. Because of her size, Konan let her stay, not really minding at all. As she evolved, she proved to be a rather helpful addition on missions, her small size hiding immense power. Despite her apperance, Florges is a very offensive Pokemon, who prefers fight to flight and is no pushover. She has made Yahiko's Goodra cry once, and even Nagato's Houndoom is intimidated by her.

Nymphia (Sylveon): Konan's first Pokemon. As an Eevee, it tagged along with her everywhere, following her through orphanage to orphanage. After meeting Yahiko, Nagato, and Jiraya, the powerful bond shared between them, as well as the attention laved on it, triggered its evolution. It is Konan's spoiled baby, and as such, does like to get its way. In battle, it uses its cute looks and allows opponents to underestimate it before crushing them. In contests, it shines brightly with its confidence and good looks. On diplomatic missions with Konan, it knows how to ease the tension in the room and make compromising a preferred option.
