What her coworkers don't know is that she is a Pokemon musical celebrity and well-known in the contesting world as well as a great battler. She's good at what she does and she knows it, and is infamous for trash-talking Karin and Temari on stage. She's also not afraid to get physical herself, so watch out! Domineering and bossy in the lab, she does seem to have a soft side. But only to Juugo and Kimmimaro. On certain days. Sometimes...She doesn't have a crush on one of them...

Korotock (Kricketune): Tayuya's main contest Pokemon, it keeps itself hidden whenever its trainer is at work. Sophisticated and well-mannered it shines on stage, and loves the limelight, but is unafraid to get down and dirty when it has to. Or when an opponent makes a nasty comment. Actually, that's when audience should leave, lest they want their ears to bleed. Literally.

Mumargi (Mismagius): It has been with its trainer since it was an egg, and shares with her a sadistic streak. Loves causing mayhem and mischief, it isn't above breaking a few bones and damaging a few minds to get the unruly to listen. It never leaves Tayuya's side and shares her taste in good music. Will sing to anything Kricketune plays, but no guarantees anyone would want to listen to that song...
