Man, I want his scarf...Ah, the KakaRin. My sister got me into it. She is such a fan that she wouldn't let me drop the pencil. So this is to her, may there be a universe where she... isn't.... dead...
I swear I think she'd live in that universe....
So there is a story behind this. I think Kakashi would become overprotective of her the years following Obito's death. I mean, he promised "He'd protect her with his life." It makes me all the more curious to know why she's dead. So he'd become over-bearing and stuff and it would take its toll on Rin-- hence, her expression. It's an angsty pairing. I think something must have gone on between them... something that shaped Kakashi to who is today. There are still many mysteries in that man even after we got like six manga chapters devoted to his story...
Yet I'm very fond of it. Not only does it have a feel of SasuSaku which I support with a fever, but it has it's own toils and dynamics.

I would love if that was the case. Dude, I'd take this over the canon any day. I can imagine Kakashi barely leaving Rin's side and the SLIGHTLY sign of danger on her part he'd overreact and protect her with everything he's got. It would be bittersweet and angst but very lovely all the same <:3 Its a nice drawing 8D Totally love their expressions

While we don't actually know yet, why he had to kill her,
there are some clues and hints along the way.
In chapter 604 you will notice something strange if look closely at Rin..
(As soon as you see her face!)
The way the zetsues warned Obito about her and Kakashi being in trouble, just when he was starting to recover, is too convenient.
And she is only one of Team Minato that hasen't been an playable character in the game series yet.

There's obviously bubbles around her. The smoke appears to be steam and such. There's no reason for Kakashi to 'kill' Rin intentionally with water (that would later evaporate). It suggest that there was a battle persisting before and this was a big set up. It's exciting!

Kakashi only uses Chidori on highly difficult and special enemies. He could have killed her humane, but he couldn't.
The water jutsu could be from the Kiri-nins.
But what does the tailed-beasts-cloaks look like?
And what kinda tailed beast used water and gas as its base elements and attacks? >
Obito said, "You let her die" not " You killed her". He knows there was a reason.

I'm inclined to think that either:
- Kakashi's over protectiveness drove her away.
- Or she had to heals servere injuries that Kakashi got from protecting her one too many times.
My belief is that she didn't want to see him get hurt anymore so she left the village without a word to anyone thinking that Kakashi would eventually get himself killed protecting her and not wanting to live through the pain of losing him.

I like that idea of yours. I'm inclined to believe your first option, only because there's this tragic story in my head of him driving her away and then her dying allowing him to add more guilt to his plate. But for the hopefuls who think she's still alive, anything goes. Thank you for commenting. ^^

Project 1 :
mulan (naruto version)- the program like "1000 words" type it in deviantart and click "go" then click "flash" in the categories and then click "interactive" in the categories.
Basically the program is like that but mulan its a kakarin fanart!
mulan = rin
li-shang = kakashi
mushu = obito (i wanted to add more comedy obito's attidude and way of speaking are like mushu and obito's hair style is like madara uchiha here obito joins rin to the ANBU the ANBU are training to defeat the rock-nins
obito was sent by his ancestors to fetch rin which is her sister i made obito and rin have the brother/sister relationship hehehehe)
Project 2 :
White Love in the Snow (kakarin fanart)- here its a VIDEO!! its program/style is similar to "draw with me" type "draw with me" in deviantart then click "go" then click in all categories "film & animation"
you'll see a video that has this title "Draw With Me :Video:" see the animation is like that.
I'm gonna make my story like this kakashi is just 8 years old rin is 7 years old kakashi cant speak talk or use his voice he needs to under go an operation to fix it basically he got it 3 months ago after his father commited sucide he's an orphan he gets beaten up by a gang everyday.
Rin accidentally finds a gang and follows it keeping a distance after seeing kakashi get beaten up she calls obito her brother(I STILL MADE IT INTO A BROTHER/SISTER RELATIONSHIP)and tells she found a boy they bring the unconcious kakashi to their mansion here the uchiha are one of the most richest clans in the town of konoha (ITS NOT A NINJA WORLD) here rin and kakashi starts to have feelins for rin every single day rin and kakashi spend most of their time together while obito spends time with them seldom because he gets detention always in class.... and blah blah blah *my hand are getting tired of typing*
