Hey there! Amazing, isn't it? This makes three deviations in about four days -- which is probably a new record for me.

This was actually the first project I started working on when I got my new Wacom tablet, but I just got around to finishing it now. It had been sitting in a folder for months, and was originally going to be a promotional poster for The Thriller, my story over at FFnet. But as my old tablet began to act funky (Aiptek hunk-a-junk) I had to put it on the back burner.

And just in case you're wondering, that isn't a younger Tigress walking back to the barracks from the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom -- that's an OC I'm developing for the final chapters of Thriller. Her name is Ying, and is one of Po's students, although she doesn't show much appreciation for kung fu. Unlike Tigress, Ying is also one of your typical girly-girls, which means she very much embraces her femininity, if the flower and the eye liner weren't enough of an indication to that effect. And although she is very sociable by nature, she doesn't seem to get along well with other children.

Her origins remain largely unknown; being the only black tiger -- or tiger in general -- in recent memory to be left at the doorstep of the Bao Gu Orphanage. The only information known about her was left in the form of a note. She still believes that her parents are out there somewhere, and she misses them dearly.

Since she is a black tiger, I had a rather difficult time in choosing the right color charts for her fur, especially since she's in a nighttime landscape. Gah, it almost killed me! That is all I will say about her for now. The rest of my readers will find out more when I actually get to writing the next couple of chapters
