Description One last drawing for 2018!  Something other than Needles this time around.  

I never had the chance to really get into Metroid, but I always thought Ridley was awesome, and it makes me super happy to finally see him as a playable character in Smash Bros.  My drawing here is primarily based on his appearance in the new SB game, but I also added some personal touches as well.  

Ridley and Metroid belong to Nintendo.

Yeah Lil Birdy(that's the name) is like an alien white cat puffball on heron legs with a voracious appetite, and then the intermediate stage is like a weird gator with fuzz on its back and some stubs for soon-to-be wings.

It's hard to believe that this thing has Human levels of intellect

Like I don't wanna imagine a society of Ridleys, OK maybe I do

Also Samus has an Interesting arch rival, not many people can say that they're actively the bane of a Tyrannosaur sized Extraterrestrial Pteradactyl  Pirate Dragon

A space-pterosaur-dragon-pirate that is human-level sapient AND very strong, AND flies, AND breaths fire?  

That’s an arch-nemesis to be proud of!  Terrifying to think of a whole society of them....

That would be awesome! After they launched Super Smash Bros Ultimate, it’s gets super exciting with awesome Metroid characters such as Ridley and Dark Samus! Specially with the spirits Metroid characters!
