Been some time since I did anything purely Traditional in LONG while. I still think this would have looked a lot nicer through digital coloring, but I have a nice pack of markers I want to try and put to more use. I also used a new variation of Watermark.One thing I definitely want to emphasis more this time around for Needles is the use of a wider range of expressions. Emotion will be key in the series. Needles himself is carefree, laid-back, sarcastic, and kinda lazy. You won't find him angry or annoyed very often, but when he is, he's something to be reckoned with.

Thank you! Prismacolor Premiers. They're wonderful markers; and while it came with a decent selection of colors; it surprisingly doesn't come with any kind of grey. I had to get a few separate ones lol.

The ones I own (Touch Twin markers) are really good too but the overlaps are very noticeable

Well it also depends on the color. Darker colors blend the strokes very well, but it can be slightly more noticeable than the bright red I used for his skin. Like I said though, it barely shows; and they're overall very nice markers.

Yeah, there is bound to be some difference in how the individual colors behave but overall, they seem very nice indeed

Funny you mention that, I think someone else also brought that up to me at some point. I have no insight into anything Planet Dolan related though; so it's purely coincidental.
