Perfect representation, that’s exactly what they would have looked like. Beautiful job, he’s fantastic.

Awesome! Ever since I became of Yi Qi, I wanted to see a kaiju based on it. Great work!

You're welcome! Loving the bladed tail feathers as well, it's rare to see a kaiju with an avian appearance with a weapon like that.

That's one cool design. Can it actually fly or just glide?

Thanks! He's capable of powered flight, though he'd much rather reserve his energy; so he usually sticks to gliding.

He looks pretty awesome, and I'm glad his design hasn't change that much.
On a side note, I'm still debating on my kaiju flier, though I'm considering between a dino-bird or even a Rhamphorhynchoid pterosaur (if not a hybrid between it and a Pterdactyloid).

Thank you! A lot of my kaiju have changed in some way physically but are mostly the same, more or less; Gigaroon being an extreme exception.
Sounds cool! Even if pterosaur kaiju are common, they're still awesome! Plus there's plenty of Dino-birds to work with too, so the possibilities are limitless. I think a Harpactognathus kaiju would be pretty badass.

You're welcome! Yeah, that's pretty much a good thing. Updating a design is a bit better than a complete overhaul. That what I've been doing lately for Monsturra and many of his kaiju co-stars.
I looked at Harpactognathus, and I think it could work as a kaiju of it's own. Hell, there is nothing wrong with having both a dino-bird kaiju and a pterosaur monster.

How about a bat? Mammals are underused as kaiju bases, plus you could do all sorts of neat stuff with sonar and echolocation.

I'm leaning towards either a bird or bat, considering that I decided to make my pterosaur kaiju a aquatic/amphibious monster with a freezing icy breath. Though, if I do go with a bat kaiju, I'm not sure if the monster would have sonic base attacks.

Even thought there are only slight changes to the initial design, this version looks so much more powerful it’s truly amazing!
It would be amazing to see his aerie high up on the Atlas Mountains... it would probably be made from entire trees or something like that

Also, I'm a bit confused over a recurring thing I find on other deviants art pages. In their deviations of quadruped spino, there are a comments regarding that the theory is now (or always was) innaccurate, and spino was actually bipedal... I just want to know which theory (if the "new" bipedal theory even is one) is more accurate. (I'm not doubting anything, I'm just confused)

As of right now; it's regarded that Spinosaurus took a bipedal stance. It's forelimbs simply couldn't help to hold it's weight.

DrDinosaur14 In reply to Demoman20 [2017-01-16 11:25:43 +0000 UTC]
The theory now, is sort of a combination of the previous two theories. Spinosaurus (may favorite dinosaur of all time, just had to say it) was both a quadraped, and a biped. And though he was a biped, his legs weren't built like regular theropods. He was much closer to the ground.

Hmm, I dunno; I think the Chimera's got Macromato pegged in the defense department. Mac may have some thick floof, but it's only so effective against some physical hits; not so much weaponry or sharp, lashing claws/tendrils/etc.

HMMM interesting.
i feel like that is fair though Mac may have chimera pegged in agility.
good analysis is good. Chimera is also a very violent kaiju.... like attacking everything it can with no thinking forward
