Description
A drawing of my dad's eye... Took about 2 - 3 hours, but I got really lazy and ended up rushing most of it...You can tell graphite really isn't my thing anymore, can't you?

Don't dis yourself! Everyone's their own worst critic. This is amazing, and incredibly detailed. Not everyone could produce this much realism in a small picture. And you've got the eyelashes right down pat, something a lot of people don't.

What i am trying to say is it looks perfect to me, but if you can see ways to make improvements then that is REALLY GREAT. That has been a cause of stress for me as im never satisfied, but i do believe it is a good thing.

right..... graphite isnt your thing... hmmm lets have a think about that... hell no!!! you continue with graphite, this is insane!!! Although i dont really like pencil cause they smudge all the time, thats why i use pen.

Thank you! Yeah, smudging can be annoying, but it can make it a lot quicker and easier to blend and stuff

You are your own worst critique, it probably just means you will get better and better or maybe theres something wrong with my eyesight.
aaawww..I was just starting to feel comfortable liking my own work and you come along and draw better than me and criticize it and it makes me wonder what you might think of my crappy stuff....

I completely agree with that - I mean, in all my drawings I notice every little mistake I make or parts I could've done better etc, that's why it's so difficult to judge your own artwork...
