My over due half of a trade with my good friend ~sarrus
Who is going through some really shitty times right now.
So go visit him and give him love! =^_^=
He may be a beginer, but he still has some really kick ass art!
This is my take on his character Sarrus.

Very nicely done, you obviously know what you're doing.
Yet I would like to know:
He has a second sheeted blade on his back, but where is the sheet for the sword he is wielding?
Also i would like to state that attacking like that would be rather ineffective.
Just keep in mind: Your picture should represent the message you're trying to convey. (Cause when you look closely you'll simple see a goodlooking guy playing around with a sword he has to cling on to all day long because he was to damn lazy to buy a second scabbard.)
PS: sorry for the harsh critique. The picture looks good anyway.

I don't mind the crit, it is just the design that my friend wanted in the art trade. I didn't design the character. and for the fact that I know the character is a demon, I dun think he would mind wielding the sword all day, either that or he can magically conjour it, or store it. (you'd have to ask ~sarrus )

I like the way you can see the movement in the picture; him being slightly off-balance appeals to me, as it's not as 'posed' as a lot of art I see around. The colours are nice, too.

Awesome! Totally cool pic, and you got the stance really good aswell.
For critisism I have to say that the colour of his sword is a bit plain all over, a sword usaully gives of some light reflections.

I usually dun blur stuff, it makes things look kinda lazy. Tho I do use photoshop, and soft brushes.
