Got the idea a long time ago when my dad told me about this really famous chinese movie where the protagonist only had one arm. Never got to see it...but the idea was enticing, hehe. Anyway, this is a pencil drawing made pretty in photoshop cs~ I used the "straight ahead" technique, which means no sketching proportions or anything beforehand.I promise once AP's are done that I'll do a proper CG, hehe.

The movie is called Dubei Dao and is actually from Hong Kong, the english title is The One Armed Swordsman. I did my research, I am big fan of eastern movies and what you said caught my attention.

I think I know what show your dad's talking about...it might not be the one I have in mind but it's a very famous legend =] I adore it to bits...there's the comics..and many remakes of it into a series... does it have to do with martial arts? Lol nice work though!

ap computer science wasn't so bad. they basically ask a lot of questions about how you would "fix this code" or "would this work" type of questions. There is a written portion where they ask you to write code that would complete a task which they specify.

I dunno. In ballpoint, you can kinda lightly sketch w/ the ink, but you can't erase - so its a nice fatalistic exersize. Plus, you can have a nice range of value. Also, their real cheap. If you use pencil, its just too easy to erase.

i took ap econ, ap comp sci, and ap literature. eh, they were ok. the only one i didn't feel ok about was econ but that's because our teacher didn't really teach us very well.
