This is such an interesting concept. I think it was very well rendered. The fall of the hair resembles the swirls in the cupcakes. I like how the blue nail polish is smeared. It seems to continue the icing theme, as if the model ran her fingers through her hair and now has icing on her hands. The eyes are stunning and the bit of white swirl adds compliment to the blue eye make up and her pale skin. I also like the addition of the gold bead sprinkles to her face.
I thought at first that the black of her eye lashes seemed to clash with the piece, but when I took a second look they just seem to set off the blue that much more.
I think that adding an additional swirl of white on her spine and curling partially onto her shoulder blade would have added a bit more continuity to the pice. Over all, I think this is a simply beautiful deviation!

I absoloutely love this picture. Most everything is a beautiful blue, which really goes with the models eyes. I love the idea of the cupcakes on her head, although I'd love to know how they stayed there. The face make-up is fantastic, and the eyelashes are completely stunning. I also love the gold in the white dots on her face, which compliments the white nicely. Although I do believe more could have been done with the hair, because it looks a bit sloppy. Also, when I saw the nails, I was confused on why the polish was going off the nail. But overall, I love this, and it's idea. Very well done.

I must say this photograph definetlely stood out to me!
The blue looks great on the model's pale skin and blue eyes.
The hair looks great with the cupcakes. Very interesting yet looks yummy!
I like how you have a whole blue thing going on and the swirl on her face just seems to go, on my perspective.
It like matches with the cupcake bottoms & the jewels or whatever they are on the cupcakes go well with the jewels you put on the face. The makeup is very dramatic and I love it!
Great job! Everything in this picture seems to be pulled together neatly while the nails are smeared which I don't quite get. But other than that I think you did a great job with this delicate model.

Hey there, this is one of the very first critiques I write for the 'critique community' - Already I find it a bit difficult, because I wouldn't otherwise write one for this shot, because it really isn't my cup of tea. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
That said, I'll try anyway. I really like the colors, I think they fit perfectly, and also I like how they're composed in the image. It's a funny idea using these cakes on her hair, though slightly weird - However I think using the cream on her face is a bit of an exaggeration of weirdness, I'm pretty sure the image would have worked better without this. On the other hand, maybe a blue lipstick would have been nice?
As far as technical aspects are concerned, I guess this is pretty perfect. Looks really really cold though, but that might be intentional.

At the first look this is an astonishing deviation. The make-up is awesome, the real cupcakes look delicious and it's very creative to make real ones and put them in her hair. I've never seen something like that before. I also very much like the icing and pearles on her face, they really add to the tasty-amount (that I do not mean in the 'oh tasty woman'-way but in the 'oh tasty cupcake'-waye.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/wā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
But when I look down, I think I miss something.. The nailpolish is exactly the right colour but how it's 'spread' further over the fingers I think it undermines the extravagance of the face make-up.. I also think you should have done something with her back and shoulder, allthough I cannot tell you exactly what.. It's quite instinctual what I'm gonna say right now, but it feels so empty right now, though I think you intended it to add some rest to the picture..

First thing, it's important that I mention your artwork here is somewhat spectacular. The scheme you have carried out is absolutely astonishing. It is distinguishable to me that you kept your nose to the grind-stone with your maximum variety of abilities. The background of this artwork is exactly suitable for the mood that I see you are aiming to capture, but with thought this statement is probably futile. Despite that, I see that your implementation of shape could of been a lot better as I think that it doesn't match the capability obvious in the remainder of the artwork. To finish I would like to mention that it has been a pleasure to pen this review for you and I feel it will allow you to revamp your creation.

I certainly appreciate almost surreal look of the pic. Girl seems like she is deeply thinking about something very important, yet very unreal or distant. Blue colour of cupcakes highlights dreamy look even more. Colours perfectly match together, composition is very nice and the pale skin of the model makes blue hues to pop out of the picture. I'd love this hanging on my wall.
It is very hard to find any weak spots of this pic but maybe some matching environment would underline the feel of the picture.
But in the end this is a stunning piece of photography. Great work!

Let me just start off by saying that this is a really original piece- I haven't seen many Deviations of cupcake headgear, I can tell you that!
The colouring is brilliant- the blues are really fluid and vivid, but without being overpowering by having too much of them. The tone of her skin and the light grey of the background contrast beautifully against the blue aswell, not too dull but just enough so to make the blue colours the main focus of the picture.
Her expression is charming, but somehow doesn't really fit; she looks a bit distant for a woman with such ostentatious accessories.
I do like the smudged look of the make-up and nail polish, although again I'm not really sure where it fits in with the theme.
