Did this originally as part of a Draw This In Your Style over on Instagram, based on @ ivan_shavrin_art. Unfortunately, I realized halfway through that the prompt was snowmen rather than characters with skulls with assorted hat or scarf. (If you see his original post it'll make sense hopefully.)

Well, better late than never in seeing the obvious. Another lesson in how getting inspired to draw something can sort of sweep away noticing anything else the meanwhile.

Anyhow, Photoshop, some blur filter effects, WWI soldiers, partially inspired by Hans Larwin and Georges Leroux, etc etc. Maybe I should have had the German soldier eating chocolate. I almost had the French one holding a baguette in his lap but thought better of it.
