Actualy, Sunset Satan resembles here a lot the Succubus Mistress from Heroes of Might and Magic V(2006):

A pretty awesome design, too. Heroes V seemed to have popularized the idea of inverted wings, as seen also with the Pit Fiend:

I understand, although I think Heroes of Might and Magic V popularized the idea of upside down wings.
Another curious artistic influence Heroes series had, was on Sunset Satan/Demon Sunset Shimmer herself, as this form seems of Sunset seems to be inspired on how (the succubus) Jezebeth looked in Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes:

Interesting how you chose the name "Lilith", seeing as how according to mythology Lilith was a Female Demonic Winged creature known as a Succubus, where as it's Male counterpart was known as a Incubus, and Sunset's "She-Demon" form actually bears a strong resemblance to a Succubus, maybe it was supposed to be MLP:FiM's rendering of a Succubus, and if so then maybe there are(or at least were) other Succubi & Incubi in Equestria, that would be good material for some new Villains to appear later on in the Franchise.

Well they probably could if they made it to where in the World of MLP:FiM, Succubi & Incubi were not "SEX" Demons like their Real World Mythological Counterparts, but rather something else like maybe "CONQUEST" Demons, like they were Winged Humanoid Demons that live for Concurring entire Countries/Nations/Kingdoms, where they enslave inhabitants, plunder resources, and pilfer riches, after all when they brought in creatures like Timberwolves, Windigos, Changelings, Vampire Bats, a Chimera, Sea-Sirens, and a Bugbear, they made a bunch of changes from their Real-World(or at least Mythological) Counterparts so that they could better fit in with the franchise, so they probably could bring Succubi & Incubi into the franchise as long as they don't call them "Sex Demons" or let them have anything to do with Sex, because this is just too good of an idea for a villain/villains to completely ignore.
