Description
Armond from 'Priest'....a very Legatoish character, protecting his lord at all costs. He looks like a girl, but the guy can fight and seems to be stronger then his fellow fallen angels (Except Temozarela...I think). I seem to be avoiding homework again, best way to do that is monkey around with a program you don't know. I'm trying Painter out right now...I like it for certain things and then blame it for others...The face here I think is cool, but the rest looks meh, my fault probably but still...Related content

The face is indeed the best part of this piece. The smooth render and accurate shading adds quite a personality to this character. Forgive my ignorance, is "priest" an anime?

I think this turned out really well for a first try! Extremely well. :3 Painter is almost the only program I use to color my work now... [I have a few things done in photoshop in there... and I've been trying to mess with Illustrator] but I know it took me a good long while to get the hang of Painter, and it seems like you've already got a great idea about what's going on. :3 Also, take advantage of the layers if you have it in your version... I got mine so long ago, it's like 5.0 or something [I'm not quite sure to tell the truth haha] but it doesn't even have a layers option, so it can be tedious. Really though, it's always a pleasure to see work from you, and I'd say stick with Painter! You seem like you're working well with it. :3

The shadows on his face and in his hair are so smoooth! Painter it seems is good for that, better that photoshop or whatever. Love that quirky half smile, half sneer going on there.

Very nice flowing strokes. The shadows and tones are awesome. I especially love the blackness under the hat where the eyes are.
