Walking around Boston with =kilgore-trout We came upon a tiny park with a fountain where these kids were playing. It was a hot day, and they were running and shrieking and generally having a good time. We shot them for quite a while. They seemed pleased with the attention. I will be emailing some of these to their mom as well.Related content

What a fun action shot. I love that this really captures the freedom of youth, how kids aren't afraid to just run into the water, fully clothed, without a thought of "my hair" or "my makeup" or "what will I look like afterwards". I miss this freedom. This should serve to remind me that I need to splash about in the water unexpectedly from time to time.
Don't you just know that the folks over the girl's shoulder are saying "wish I could do that"?
I know we all do.
I love the lighting on the boy's back. His shoulder and are are especially nice.

That's Post Office Square park(?), in the spring and summer it's a great place to hang out and eat lunch away from the bustle of the city, though it's in the middle of the city. Great shot, I can almost hear the laughter of the children.
