Found this wagon out back of a tiny restaurant on a back road, and wanted to make this picture. Luckily, I was with Angie, who obligingly took her shoes off for me.

Talk about harkening back... First skateboard I ever had, I literally made from a pair of old skates (kind that attached to your shoes, with a key) an old crate and a length of board I scrounged somewhere. We're talking mid-1950s, here, Commodore Perry Projects, in Buffalo, New York. Then, like a gift from the gods, I found an old Radio Flyer in the dump (where I spent a considerable amount of time as a child), from which I scarfed the wheels and replaced the skate parts with them. Fastest skateboard in the Projects...
