this is very cool. on one side like mentioned there is earthly colors and tones used and on the other side more of cold spirit feel. It gives the feel like the subject is embracing the two worlds or parting from one to the other. i really like the running splatters in the background creates an awesome texture.

Im liking the earthly tones on the right hand side; although the transition between the browishgreenishyellow and the blue seems way to sudden. Might have been what you were going for, but i dont like it. But you do, and thats what counts, atleast i think so..

Maybe, who knows... Do you think the change in tones in my avatar are too sudden, or they fit because the rhythm is so fast?

until just now, i hadnt noticed a change in tone in it.. it all just goes nicely together, perhaps thats why.
