That's a good observation, what would be your suggestion? No Frame or dull/thinner?

I can't tell for sure. I edit/crop all my photos against a black background, so it's very possible that I lean heavily towards black rather than white when it comes to framing overall. White could possibly work if it was much thinner, as it wouldn't create as much of a "void" there.

I used to like thick framing (no matter the color), but nowadays I find they distract from the photo quite often. The human eye is drawn to brightness, so I can imagine a white frame on a dark image is likely becomes a bit of a distraction in general.

I don't want to decide for you, but if this was my own shot I'd frame it very very thin, or not at all.

Nicely put I did play around with a couple and went with white over a tan or black because of the temperature of the picture, it's not very heavy and black seemed to flatten it too much for me. I was going for a bit of a polaroid feel with the thick frame but after a few days of pondering i'm not sure. Thanks for the opinion, appreciated
