God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I think that concept is nuts, but then again, I'm not Him, the Designer of existence; so right there, He and I do not see eye-to-eye; thus I must be made to understand.
And that's overall how you approach a rationalist who's sincerely seeking the truth: through both puzzles and overall reality, but breaking it down to his ability to grasp... not Biblical statements, but clarifications thereof tend to work... speaking old languages will make you out to be a metaphysical fool who's played around with gangster spirits, thus the person who does have those gifts is cut off by them immediately and perminantly!
But reason tends to work with those who're by personality rationalists, not like the ones in history who weren't rational, but the truly rational; that's above all why I do accept His ideas, especially how to live right.
I still think sin, as a metaphysical drug, should be avoided without exception, thus this analogy is nuts, if an analogy it is in the first place... for sin weakens the person and royally screws the person up- why in the world would anyone, especially the Divine Doctor, want to ingest something that'd weaken Him and deny Himself the ability to work in the first place? That makes less than no sense!
I'm with Him in values, but this makes less than no sense, sorry, Sir, I do not comprehend... then again, what say have I over what He does? None whatsoever!
I'm with you in this art, and I do support His ideas, yes, that previous statement was also addressed to Him as well as yourself.

Well, acting on it sure is, but the orientation itself is not... it's merely the direction the temptations of romantic sin tend to go in; in and of itself. It's when it's acted upon that's sinful, be it either fornication or adultery, depending on whether or not one partner is married to someone else or not (and divorce is a delusion, there is no divorce, thus a divorcee is still married to their spouse.), either way the acts are serious enough to be mortal sin.
But the orientation itself? No, not in and of itself... think if that community is accurate and people are born tempted in one direction or another: then the baby is called home to Paradise and Judgement (think school grades on one's conduct and you may be spot on with His judgement), and the child, too young to have any personal sins, is in Paradise, a saint... God's not going to include things that are accidents of original sin on the souls of the humans who received that genetic glitch of original sin... it merely makes a propensity for sin in one department or another.

Looking at the Cross is like Looking in the mirror for it shows what we do when confronted with PERFECT LOVE. We Destroy (consume) it.

Is being lazy a sin?

There are multiple verses in the Bible that tell us to work diligently and not be lazy:
2nd Thess 3:10
Prov 18:9
Matthew 25:26

It's not necessarily the fear but what you choose to do with it - whether you allow it to prevent you from doing what God desires of you despite His assurances.
