No need to be harsh. Many people pull off Gakupo and his feminine qualities without giving him lipstick.

Wasn't trying to be. As for your assertion 1) I'm not one of those "many people" since if everyone did everything the same way, the world would be an incredibly boring place and 2) if it worked for his original design and the real-life singer on which Gakupo is based , then I'd like to think it could work here.

That is one of the least accurate depictions of him. And, yes, it's a him. If you listen to his (synthetic) voice, Gakupo is clearly male. I don't intend to fan-rant, but it bothers me when mix-ups like this occur.

It's official art, dear. One of the first pieces of him, in fact. And the character was based on japanese musician Gackt who, although male, still looks very feminine in his stage persona. Making this character look feminine was a stylistic choice, but one that has basis in established OFFICIAL art of the character and its inspiration. I understand if it's not your cup of tea and I respect that, but please don't come on my page and pull the whole condescending "You know that you're an idiot, right?" routine with me. It's very frustrating. Sorry for being confrontational about it.

Ffff, vive samurai, I love this thing. It captures his girliness perfectly-especially on the pink lipstick (that many fanfartists omit, but was originally part of his design).

look her that chest thingy is glowing. The one from Ironman. For some reason, she doesn't look asian. That's right, she's a robot thingy or appliance or whatever you call it. Karaoke machine.
...anyway...
good ol swordsman stance. and good balance of colour. She's got teh blank look, so I know what that means.
In terms of design, colours are almost calm. I may not know about them vocaloids, but you got the right proportions for a chibi. Also teh angle is quite distorted. Gives it a...cartoony feeling. Obvious, but not for all.
Hope you enjoyed your time in Otakon. Sounds pretty good.
