Saw this on my favorites list and thought I'd stop in again, say how cool this is. I just finished reading The Wake last week or so and kinda sad that the series is over. Good to have such an awesome drawing of Death and Dream pop up on my website from time to time

Thanks...I read Sandman for the longest time, like everyone. I actually did a comic story of his for a small publisher, so that was neat (he said he was 'bemused' by our adaptation).

I love how you painted both of these characters! There honestly isn't enough Sandman art out there for how amazing that comic was, and this is a very welcome sight.
A quick question: were you trying to convey how she missed and remembered the first Dream or how close the two of them were?
At any rate, you did a wonderful job here. This is a definite fave!

well, thanks, kitten! The person I did it for is not completely happy with it so far (he wants the nose and mouth to be just like Bachalo, I guess, which I don't do). So, we shall see if I end up selling it on Ebay.
