Wow how incredibly flattering that you're after tips from me!
I think its a great portrait and it does look like him so you've obviously got talent for it. :) (Smile) I'm not exactly sure what to say but I think one thing that could really make a difference would be to expand your range of tones more, like have some really light areas and then some really dark so that it gives a contrast and shows the facial features more. Other than that concentrate on the eyes, nose and lips because as long as you get those right you can mess up the rest to a certain extent and it will still look like who it should. And lastly... a lot of practice!

And I don't think you have anything to worry about you have some very good pics in your gallery. I usually say to people practise.... it took a lot of time and drawing to get as good as I am, not to say I'm that good cos there's a lot of people better than I am :D (Big Grin)

yeah...practice makes perfect...I'm starting to practice my realism right now cause I'm trying to build a portfolio for an art school I want to go to...thanx for the advise :) (Smile) ...and I still think your work is amazing because it's really hard to find good or excellent traditional art work now-a-days.
