Part of my thesis series: a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.here is the Beauty: i wanted her to be a bit more feisty than other versions of her, especially compared to the original. (i've always looooved disney's version of her as a bookworm with enough spirit to stand up to the beast still.) i imagine her to be a bit more teenagery in her fiestiness, though. refusing to be afraid of the beast and preferring to ignore him rather than confronting him. though my version of this story is only in sketches and paintings, and not totally written out, it would involve a lot more growth on the beauty's part as well as the beast's and a lot less virginial symbolism.
also, she has freckles because i like them. :3
