Finally finished this!
AGH, DANNY. Y U SO ADORABLE? To explain the random sheep, on spring break when I went to Colorado, my brother wanted to buy his girlfriend an Easter present. So we walked through the store in search of something fluffy, and I found this adorable (and very fluffy) plush sheep, whom I absolutely adored. So he bought it and we got to spend the week with the sheep until we got home, where it went to his girlfriend. She carried it around school all day XD
EHEM. Back to the sketch. I started this a while ago (about a week I think). Normally I kind of just do half-assed sketches because they don't really turn out as well as I want them to anyways. I got bored and wanted to draw one of my OC's and somehow ended up with a light sketch of this. I had to finish it because I just love it so much! X3 So here you go~ Enjoy c:

And yes, it really does. ^^ Learning to sketch digitally really helps too. It's a bit more tough, but it's really helpful when you get used to it.

I'm considering getting a tablet soon so I can try out digital art this summer. Even when you sketch digitally, would you say that your drawing still improves regardless if it was done on the computer or with a pencil?

Yeah, it's works pretty well either way once you get used to the tablet (although, I no longer own one). I think learning to use both will help in learning new techniques and style.

I never got used to my tablet, so I sold it several months after buying it lol (I fail) My poor laptop didn't like it so much either. I am glad I bought it though, because my Photoshop came with it c:

Cool c: I'm worried about the whole "looking at screen and not at your hand" thing. Some people tell me that it's quite a hurdle when they first start out

There is the cintique (I think that's what it's called) that has the screen on the tablet so it's like you're drawing normally, but I hear it's like a 1000 dollars there's no way my parents would let me get that XD
